alina wong is originally from san diego, california and is majoring in international relations in the college of arts and sciences at the university of pennsylvania. she began baking at a local wedding cake bakery in san diego after graduating from high school, and the baking bug has not left her since. during summers and while at penn, she's worked in multiple award-winning kitchens as a pastry chef assistant in both new york and philadelphia. additionally, her love of learning languages and using languages to communicate with others has translated to her experience with NOMsense Bakery. she realized through her experiences abroad and in the classroom that there truly is a unique bond and common language of happiness that occurs through food. she hopes to continue creating this bond in a career in hospitality and restaurant management.
